Easy dinner recipes

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

I was recently looking around for some very easy dinner recipes on the internet when I came came across the webite Tidingsmag.com which has easy recipes from all over the world. For example, there’s Cajun Shrimp. The secret to this dish lies in choosing a Cajun seasoning that is not too salty, with just the right balance of sweet spice and heat. I use Paul Prudhomme’s “Seafood Magic,” a great Cajun blend from the famous New Orleans chef, but you can experiment with other brands or make your own. If you have frozen shrimp on hand, you can whip up this recipe for unexpected guests in no time. Enjoy an apéritif while the shrimp roast in the oven. There’s also Cauliflower in Red Wine. This is a family recipe that has been passed down through the ages. This is not one of those crisp-tender veggie dishes – you cook the cauliflower until it’s soft and well-steeped with wine. If purple cauliflower is not your thing, try it with dry white wine. My older brother prefers this dish made with red-wine vinegar and sugar rather than with regular vino. Try it all three ways and see what you think. Not only do they have easy dinner recipes, they also have cookie recipes and cake recipes that will make your mouth water.
